You will assist with the day-to-day operations, playing an integral role in providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. You will also support recruiting and onboarding initiatives. Along with the Head of Talent, you will be an essential facilitator of our recruiting process and will work with the hiring managers and candidates. By being efficient and thoughtful, you'll create a seamless candidate experience by keeping our Applicant Tracking System organized and up-to-date, by scheduling interviews with candidates and members of the team in a timely fashion, and by being a champion of our company’s values.

As a senior software engineer, you will grow to manage the ongoing development of the internal
software that provides actionable technical information across NuMat’s research, engineering, and
manufacturing organizations. You will collaborate with modelers and developers on a scientific python
stack, and you will be responsible for enforcing best practices such as test-driven development,
documentation, code style, and continuous integration. NuMat is a strong proponent of open-source science, and the engineering organization is seeking candidates who are excited by the prospect of contributing to the broader community. This position will support the mission critical production operations at NuMat. It requires interfacing on a daily basis with manufacturing, commercial, R&D and engineering teams to achieve production targets and to execute productivity improvement projects. Complete ownership of manufacturing environment with freedom to build up new processes and the expectation to roll up your sleeves (literally sometimes) if they break.

As the Manufacturing Specialist, you will support the on-site production of NuMat’s growing commercial product line that utilizes its unique absorbents. You will be required to perform manufacturing tasks safely, efficiently, and in a manner consistent with NuMat procedures. It will be essential to communicate information effectively and professionally to your small internal teammates. Your attention to detail and willingness to change in a fast-moving environment is crucial to support the team’s mission of continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. Core hours are weekdays, 7 AM – 3 PM. The position may require work on Saturday and/or Sunday, holidays, and overtime.

This process engineering role will contribute across the R&D, engineering and manufacturing groups. In R&D, this individual will support process development projects for adsorbent manufacturing processes in NuMat’s development pipeline. In engineering, this individual will execute small capital projects. In manufacturing, this person will support the mission critical production operations at NuMat. This will require interfacing on a daily basis with manufacturing, commercial, R&D and engineering teams to achieve production targets and to execute productivity improvement projects. Expect full ownership of projects with freedom to build up new processes and the expectation to roll up your sleeves in the plant and lab.

The development engineer role will contribute to new technology development at NuMat for manufacturing technology and for new products. In manufacturing development, this individual will support process development projects for adsorbent manufacturing processes in NuMat’s development pipeline. In product development, this individual will shepherd new technology through the stages 3 and 4 (out of 5) of NuMat’s stage-gate process. This will require interfacing with manufacturing, commercial, research, and engineering teams. Expect full ownership of projects with freedom to build up new processes and the expectation to roll up your sleeves in the plant and lab.
